Are you a pilot or own a plane. If so, than you know that you're required to have a portable defibrillator on board your plane in the event of an emergency. However, you can't have just any defibrillator and battery. It must be one that has been approved by the FAA, Federal Aviation Administration.

The battery is non-rechargeable so you will need to reguarly check the expiration date to verify that it's within the manufacturers date. Since the battery has been approved by the FAA is comes with the TSO C-142 certification.
